The power has been restored. Tree limbs fell and caused a transformer to short out causing the outage. It took some time to find the location of the outage and repair it. While assisting with the outage emergency management personnel discovered a small gas leak at the intersection of Sardis Plantation Drive and NC 51. This has been repaired.
