The Town of Matthews is accepting applications for positions on the Planning Board. Planning Board members are responsible for reviewing and making recommendations regarding zoning cases; receiving previews of potential subdivisions and helping draft land use and development plans for recommendation to the Town Board of Commissioners.
The Planning Board meets the 4th Tuesday of every month and members are expected to attend the Town Board of Commissioners meeting which is the 2nd Monday of the month. The positions are volunteer ones and offer no pay or benefits.
