Businesses are invited to attend the Town of Matthews Business Summit. The free event will be held from 11:30-1:30 p.m. on Friday, May 13 at Town Hall, 232 Matthews Station Street. Lunch is available at 11:30 am for those who want to network. The program will begin at 12 noon.
Join us as we hear Local Business Success/Lessons Learned Stories. Three owners of local businesses will discuss how they have succeeded in establishing their companies, weathered the recent economic downturn and what strategies they use to maintain and grow their companies.

The summit will include a session on social media and technology. Experts will answer your questions on what social media outlets you need to utilize for your business, how to maximize them and what is new in the world of social media.

Marcie O. Kelso of The Light Factory - Center for Photography and Film
Mayor Jim Taylor will also be available to speak about upcoming Town Economic Development initiatives.
