The Matthews HELP Center serves and cares for those in the community by providing programs and services that meet life's basic needs. Respect, time and a sense of dignity are given to all who enter. The HELP Center has been serving and caring for the people of Matthews and the surrounding communities since 1979.
At this time, the pantry supplies are in need of replenishing. The Matthews Branch Library & Matthews Town Hall will be a collection point, with donation boxes in the front and back of the building to receive urgently needed pantry items.
Items needed for the pantry include: • quart ziplock bags • fruit juices • pudding cups • boxed jello • dry cereal • cereal bars • powdered milk (in envelopes, not bulk) • dried beans • spaghetti • macaroni and cheese • ramen noodles • saltine crackers • cornmeal • instant grits • rice • toilet paper • paper towels • razors • sanitary pads/tampons • tooth brushes, tooth paste • Deodoran, bar soap
