Traffic Alert - NC 51 Ramp Closure - Wednesday Night

NCDOT to temporarily close NC 51 ramp in Matthews Wednesday night


CHARLOTTE – The N.C. Department of Transportation will temporarily close the ramp from N.C. 51 North to U.S. 74 East in Matthews from 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9, until 6 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, weather permitting.

The ramp closure is necessary for utility work in conjunction with this year’s Mecklenburg County resurfacing project. A suggested alternate route is N.C. 51 to Sam Newell Road back to U.S. 74 East.
