If you are a non-profit organization who would like to partner with the Town of Matthews by hosting an event at one of the Town’s festivals we are looking for you.
The Town holds a number of events each year including Beach Fest, Matthews Alive and the Summer Concert and Movie Series. “Staff works to constantly improve these events and we are looking for groups who may want to assist with a festival by adding their own unique element but do not have the number of volunteers or the budget to do a festival of their own,” said Lee Tillery, Director of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources. “This year the Town has a total of $1,500 to aid non-profits interested in partnering with us on existing events.”
If your non-profit organization is interested you must go through a formal application process. Applications will be accepted until March 7.
