Committee Members Sought

An Advisory Committee on the Special Needs and Senior populations is in the process of being organized by the Town of Matthews. Town Commissioner Nancy Moore is heading up this effort to ensure the needs of this segment of the town’s population are met.
 
“This committee will aid Town officials as we work to serve the Special Needs and Senior Populations,” said Moore. “Census figures estimate that there are 2,300 residents who are disabled and 2,900 residents who are over the age of 65 living in Matthews.
