COUNTY EXPANDING LIVE BROADCASTS OF BOARD MEETINGS ON THE INTERNET

Charlotte, N.C. - Mecklenburg County is making it easier than ever for residents to watch decisions that County leaders make.

Starting this afternoon at 3 p.m., meetings of the Mecklenburg Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) will stream live on the Internet at www.MecklenburgCountyNC.gov.

Previously, only the board's twice-monthly regular meetings were broadcast
live on The Government Channel, Time Warner Cable 16, and live online, with
rebroadcasts available on Channel 16 and at www.MecklenburgCountyNC.gov.
