The Heathers Subdivision will be repaved this summer. Beginning the last week of June work will begin in the subdivision. Work to be completed includes curb repair, the addition of handicap ramps and milling and paving of all three miles of streets in the subdivision. Rea Contracting, who was the low bidder, will oversee the work on this project.
During the last week of June concrete repair work will begin. The week of July 12 milling of the streets will begin. Following the step the new paving materials will be put down. The work is expected to be complete by the end of July unless inclement weather delays the schedule.
Streets to be repaved include: Bathgate Lane, Clearkirk Court, Fitzpatrick Lane, Fraserburgh Drive, Heathershire Lane, Kilmarnock Court, Kintyre Court, Kirkholm Drive, O’Malley Drive, O’Toole Drive, Portpatrick Lane, Strathaven Drive, Tynecastle Lane, Wester Ross Court and Swaim Drive. If you live on these streets please do not park on the streets while work is underway.
The work is part of the Town’s Annual Resurfacing Program and will cost $327,000.
