Crews Road Recreation Center is the Town of Matthews first indoor recreation center. The Recreation Center is located at 1201 Crews Road (behind Matthews Police Station).
In January 2006, the Town of Matthews began construction on the building. Doors were open to pubic on August 26, 2006. The Recreation Center will offer a variety of programs, athletic leagues and classes to the Matthews community.
