Weddington Road/I-485 Interchange

In October 2007 Public Works Director, Ralph Messera, met with NCDOT.  At that meeting it was discussed that the eastbound (outer loop) ramps should be redesigned to terminate opposite Plantation Center Drive. This would require the acquisition of additional land from the Siskey Y, but will be a better, safer intersection in the long run.  NCDOT will contact the Y about these proposed changes.  It is anticipated there will be a follow-up public information session in the next six months.
